The Alpha Millennium International Preschool is powered by VELS – KKIC
Vels’s award-winning Kindle Kids International Curriculum, works towards creating a stimulating and dynamic environment for students to acquire a deeper knowledge through active exploration. Every concept is learned through a series of activities and the emphasis is not to test children but to support their strength and unique learning styles.
- Kindle Kids International Curriculum (KKIC) is an indigenously researched & developed curriculum by an expert R & D team with over a decade of experience in preschool education systems.
- Social/Emotional Development - Understanding self and ability to adjust to new situations and people. Standing up for their own rights. Following classroom routines and understanding emotions to develop a positive self image. Play well, interact with peers to establish trusting relationships . Using thinking skills to regulate attention and thoughts.
Language Development
Learning to communicate, pronounce , understand words, ask questions and answers. Expanding to sentences in later stages. Reading, recognizing, mapping and writing words following Phonetics Methodology.
Physical Development
Activities ensuring Gross Motor skills development like running, jumping, climb up and down, pedaling, throwing, kicking and catching. Fine Motor Skill Development involving hand - eye coordination using tools for drawing and writing , muscle movements, joints amalgamation etc.
Cognitive Development
Learning to observe objects and events, explores causes and effects, classifies objects, compares / measures, recognizes patterns, repeats and applies knowledge to new endeavours.
